Roadmap to Repair Conference

Representatives from RepGen attended the Asset Funders Network: Roadmap to Repair Conference in Oakland, California. This conference explored how a culture of repair can inspire new models of philanthropy. It was great to be surrounded by people who share a common goal of advancing economic justice and racial equity.

House Meetings

Thank you to everyone who attended RepGen’s virtual House Meetings on Jan. 16 and Feb. 18. At our January meeting, we used Afrofuturism to envision a transformative, post-reparations world. We explored how reparations could reshape systems, culture, and communities, creating a future rooted in equity, joy, and resilience. During our February meeting, we shared insights into RepGen’s mission, our innovative approach to reparations, and the tangible steps we’re taking to build a more equitable future. We also discussed our groundbreaking initiatives, like the HORT Program, and our vision for extending its reach to create even greater opportunities for those most impacted by systemic injustices.

RepGen also hosted several in-person House Meetings this quarter. These events are a powerful tool to bring together like minded folks around a common cause in this moment. If you are interested in hosting a House Meeting where attendees connect with our community, ask questions, and explore how they can be a part of this transformative journey, please email [email protected].
